WSA Tahun 2023 sejatinya dilangsungkan pada Tahun 2020, namun tertunda hingga tahun ini akibat pandemi COVID-19. Pada gelaran tahun ini, WSA memperlombakan 22 bidang kejuruan dan diikuti oleh 10 Negara ASEAN.
Indonesia sendiri mengirimkan 36 kompetitor pada 18 bidang kejuruan yaitu Automobile Technology, Beauty Therapy, CNC Maintenance, Electronics, Fashion Technology, Graphic Design Technology, Hairdressing, Industrial Automation, Internet of Things, IT Network System Administration, IT Software Solutions for Business, Mechanical Engineering CAD, Mechatronics, Mobile Robotics, Rapid Transit Systems, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Restaurant Services, dan Web Technologies.
